Rules and Pawlicies
At Camp 4 Paws, the well-being and happiness of your dog are our top priorities. Our comprehensive rules and policies are designed to create a secure and enjoyable atmosphere where dogs can socialise, play, and relax.
By adhering to these guidelines, we can maintain a high standard of care and ensure that every visit is a positive experience.
General rules
Vaccinations:
All dogs must be up-to-date on their vaccinations, including a kennel cough vaccination, prior to attending Camp 4 Paws. Proof of vaccination is required upon enrolment, via email or photo, and must be updated annually. Please make sure your dog is up to date with flea & worming programmes.

Health & Safety:
Any illness (coughing, diarrhoea, vomiting, etc.) — please keep your dog at home until fully recovered. Flea & worm treatment must be kept up-to-date. Dogs must be free from contagious illnesses and parasites. Please notify us if your dog has been exposed to any contagious conditions.

Behaviour:
Daycare is Not Training. Daycare is designed for dogs that are already friendly, social, and able to mix safely with others. It is not a substitute for training, rehabilitation, or socialising unsociable dogs. Dogs showing aggression, reactivity, or behaviour that puts others at risk may be refused entry or asked to leave. We may recommend training or behavioural support before a dog can return to daycare.

Spay & Neutering:
At Camp 4 Paws, the safety and harmony of our daycare environment is our top priority. We reserve the right not to accept unneutered male dogs over 9 months of age. Male puppies who attend daycare will be monitored closely as they approach adolescence. If a client wishes for their dog to continue attending beyond this stage, the timing of neutering will be discussed and agreed upon between the client and Camp 4 Paws. Please note that we also reserve the right to exclude unneutered males if their status begins to negatively affect the behaviour, wellbeing, or temperament of other dogs in our care.

For female dogs, we require that they are spayed by the age of 9 months in order to attend daycare. This is to prevent disruption caused by heat cycles and to ensure a safe, balanced environment for all dogs. Female puppies may attend prior to spaying, but Camp 4 Paws reserves the right to exclude any female dog if her status impacts the safety, behaviour, or comfort of the wider group.

Collars and Leashes:
For the safety of all dogs in our care, we ask that every dog arrives on a secure lead (please no flexi or retractable leads). Dogs must wear a collar, even if they are using a harness.

Boarding:
Our overnight boarding is an exclusive service for dogs who already attend daycare with us. Boarding is not open to the general public — this ensures that every dog who stays overnight is familiar with our team, our space, and their furry friends, creating a calm and home-like experience.
Pawlicies
Opening hours:
Our daycare operates from 7:30am – 5:15pm, Monday to Friday. Our staff are on site until 5:30pm to allow for full cleaning once all dogs have left the premises. Please note we cannot accommodate pick ups later than 5:30pm unless it has been discussed & agreed in advance.

Drop-off and Pick-Up:
Drop-off is open from 7:30am – 8:45am. Early arrivals are not permitted. This ensures all dogs are exercised adequately in the morning prior to rest time.

Pick-up is from 4:00pm – 5:15pm, again to ensure all dogs have a toilet break before returning home. Our summer and winter schedule vary, due to weather and light conditions. All dogs are back inside their cabins from 4:45pm to be collected and relax before heading home for the night.

Collections must be made by 5:15pm sharp. Late collections may result in additional charges and could affect future bookings.

Please park considerately in the driveway and be wary of your speed on the road.

Holidays:
Your daycare plan already includes a four-week holiday allowance, so you won’t be charged during this time. Our annual two-week Christmas closure is also included at no extra cost. While swaps may be possible to accommodate your schedule, they cannot be guaranteed.

Food and Medication:
If your dog requires meals during their stay, please provide food in labeled containers. Medications must be clearly labeled with instructions and will be administered by our trained staff.

Personal Belongings:
While we provide toys and bedding, you may bring a favorite item from home to help your dog feel comfortable. Please label all personal belongings.

Emergency Procedures:
In the event of an emergency, we will contact you immediately. Please ensure that your contact information is current and that you have provided an emergency contact.
