Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some common questions about Camp 4 Paws.
Yes – puppies are welcome once they’ve had all their vaccinations and can safely mix with other dogs.
Please note, puppies must be neutered to continue attending once they reach of age.
Daycare is for dogs that are already social, friendly, and happy mixing with others. It is not a substitute for training or behavioural work. If your dog needs help with training, we recommend working with a qualified trainer before joining daycare.
If your dog becomes unwell or is injured, we will contact you immediately. If urgent treatment is needed and we can’t reach you, we will take your dog to our registered vet. You are responsible for all veterinary costs.
Just your dog on a secure lead or harness. We provide toys, safe play spaces, and cosy areas for rest. Please don’t bring personal toys, food, or beds – they can cause unnecessary squabbles.
Yes – our facilities are fully secure inside and out, with astroturf and safe surfaces designed to keep dogs clean, safe, and happy. All dogs are supervised by experienced staff.
Yes – we love sharing snaps of our Camp dogs having fun! Photos and videos may be used on our social media and website. If you’d prefer your dog not to appear online, just let us know.
Yes – all breeds are welcome, provided they meet our health, neutering, and behaviour requirements.
For everyone’s safety, dogs must be friendly and able to mix in a group environment. If your dog shows aggression or behaviour issues, we may recommend training or behavioural support before they can return to daycare.
Yes. All dogs must attend a 20-minute assessment visit before starting daycare. Assessments are by appointment only, Monday to Friday between 12:30–3:00pm.
This allows us to meet your dog, check their vaccination record, and see how they respond to the daycare environment.
All new dogs then begin with a one-month trial period to make sure they’re happy, comfortable, and settling well into the Camp routine. If we feel daycare isn’t the right fit, we’ll let you know and may suggest alternatives such as training or smaller group care.
Our overnight boarding is an exclusive service for dogs who already attend daycare with us. Boarding is not open to the general public — this ensures that every dog who stays overnight is familiar with our team, our space, and their furry friends, creating a calm and home-like experience.
